In the 50's the artist Nono Reinhold, who became later the wife of Edy de Wilde, was living in Paris and working at Atelier 17 of Stanley William Hayter. In 1956 she went with the painter Corneille and two other friends on a journey through Africa. They shipped a Land Rover to Dakar, Senegal and drove more than 4 months through Senegal, Upper Volta, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Chad, Sudan, Ethiopia and Kenya. The photographs Nono Reinhold took on this trip are now published for the first time in this book.
The book is available for € 15 at Peter Foolen Editions
