Peter Liversidge – two mail pieces

On the same day when I had this long ruler with the post, 17 November 2011, I received two objects with the mail from Peter Liversidge, enclosed in a plastic mail bag, with a note saying that the contents of these mailparcels were open, and that the mail company has wrapped them in again without taken notice of their contents

W Reginald Bray (1879-1939) got there first: " He discovered that the smallest item one could post was a bee, and the largest, an elephant. Intrigued, he decided to experiment with sending ordinary and strange objects through the post unwrapped, including a turnip, a bowler hat, a bicycle pump, shirt cuffs, seaweed, a clothes brush, even a rabbit's skull."
