The book documents a series of 50 watercolours that Callum Innes completed during lockdown in 2020 in Oslo, inspired by the poem A Pure Land by Thomas A Clark.The series of watercolours and poem were installed in an exhibition at OSL Contemporary, Oslo, from 19 Februari – 27 March 2021.

A group show curated by Daine Howse to launch the art space of Lawn with works by
Roger Ackling, Laurie Clark, Thomas A Clark, Tacita Dean, Gair Dunlop, Max Ernst, Andy Goldsworthy, Diane Howse, Per Kirkeby, Henry Moore, herman de vries, and turned wooden vessels by Bobby Mills and ceramic works by Ewen Henderson, Ray Finch and Janet Leach, Aragonite Scholar's Rocks and a Chinese Scholar’s Wood Root.

Lawn Editions is the publishing press of Diane Howse. At the opening of the exhibition Ground the book of the wayside by Thomas A Clark & Laurie Clark, published by Lawn Editions, was launched.
