A Performance by choirs from all over London singing songs about Tate Modern

Peter Liversidge has written a series of songs in response to Tate Modern's building which will be performed by 500 singers in the Turbine Hall. Peter Liversidge worked with music director and conductor Esmeralda Conde Ruiz on the creation of the piece.
This performance will be the centrepiece of the opening weekend of the new Tate Modern building. The new building, designed by Herzog & de Meuron, will be open for the public from 17 June 2016 followed by 3 weeks of performances.

The first solo museum show of Peter Liversidge will open on Sunday 1 May at the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum. Peter Liversidge wrote 60 proposals for the exhibition, of which 24 have been selected for realization and will be presented at the Museum and surroundings. The chosen proposals are guided by the concept of connecting the interior of The Aldrich Museum with the surrounding landscape and community. The exhibition of Peter Liversidge is part of Site Lines, Four Solo Exhibitions Engaging Space.
