For the past year Alec Finlay and Ken Cockburn have been travelling through Scotland, guided by the Japanese poet Basho, whose Oku-no-Hosomichi (Narrow Road to the Deep North) is one of the masterpieces of travel literature. Ken and Alec left Edinburgh on 16 May 2010 – the same date that Basho and his companion Sora departed Edo in 1689 – and they will celebrate the culmination of their year-long journey on 15 May 2011, at Glasgow's hidden gardens

Kolham, Groningen, the location of the Headquarters of The Flag Club, where the official launch of the flying of the flag will be on Friday 17 June 2011 for members of The Flag Club.

You will be member when you order the box with the editions of Thomas A Clark (the club has only 20 members, who will receive the box and a special membership card).

Acid-free box (31 x 25 x 5 cm)

including flag (150 x 225 cm), enamel sign (20 x 23 cm), DVD, a folded card in envelope and a colophon sheet.

Signed and numbered by the artist. Published in an edition of 20 copies.

price € 350

The box will be published in June 2011. When you order the box you are a member of The Flag Club, and receive the special membership card and will be invited for the launch of the flag on Kolham in June.
